The programmes are designed to enhance your natural energy and to inspire you with special environments and people, with time in nature and in the spirit of an aligned group.
Life has ways of calling us to resilience. Sometimes we land out of our comfort zone in new circumstances, and other times the comfort we have been accustomed to becomes dull. We seek new ways of seeing, being or doing. There is strength within us all: we have the ability to shift our perceptions, to employ strategies to navigate these times of transition and tame our fear or vulnerability. We can change and adapt. We can be open to receive support from the connections, communities and the natural world that surround us, though it isn’t always easy to embrace the support around us. We can be kind and compassionate to ourselves to navigate from the vulnerability of difficult circumstances to a place where our courage feels like it has foundations.
Set in a beautiful natural environment, these retreats will get you close to nature, helping harmonise your mind and body and to enhance your vitality, enabling flow and new possibilities.
Who is it for? Anyone seeking enhanced self-awareness and positive mindset to help transition through a period of change or challenge, or simply to explore and energise towards new possibilities in any area of life. If you would like strengthen your motivation, enhance self-trust, self-compassion and your positive lens on life, please join us for this uplifting, inspirational and restorative week.
Inspired by deep experiences of the lead facilitator Karen Darke and a small team we will help you deepen awareness of your landscape, narrative and perceptions, supporting you to create helpful insights to ease through change and transcend current challenges or transitions, whether you have chosen them or they have chosen you!
Sometimes the only way to change is to step out of our familiar world, stop our routines and plant ourselves in a new place, with unfamiliar people, to gather alternative ways of seeing and loosen any stuck-ness to our own habitual ways.
About your coaches…
KAREN DARKE
Karen’s passion for possibility began in her early years of being paralysed. She became curious about the power of the mind and how we can train it to view challenge as opportunities. How do we focus attention on what we can do, not on limitations? How do we create or do things that we barely believe we can? Karen’s life has been filled with ‘possibility experiments’. She created a documentary project on possibility with Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Professor Steve Peters (The Chimp Paradox) and created ‘The Pole of Possibility’ in Antarctica in 2023. Karen continues to push her own boundaries and explore the realms of helping others bring surprising possibilities to reality.
Karen has a wealth of experiences to share from her life as a professional athlete and explorer, and theoretical perspectives gained through study: an MA in Development Training, a Masters in Sports Psychology and High Performance Coaching. She is also a qualified Performance Coach & Hypnotherapist and an experienced ‘Flow’ Coach.

SCOTLAND RETREATS
Bespoke 1:1 or small group dates (on request)
28th June – 2nd July 2025 Sea Kayaking : 3 places remaining
A unique retreat to help you connect with nature and find your own inner flow. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy all the beauty and benefits that time on the water brings.
As much as possible, we will find sheltered, peaceful locations to explore on the beautiful coast of Scotland. Costs will include all equipment hire, sea kayaks, instruction and guiding. It will also include supportive sessions with tools to help you balance and strengthen your mind and body. We will have coaching conversations and support you on your journey to new horizons.
Blue Zones: You might know that ‘Blue zones’ are the areas of the world identified as supporting greatest wellbeing; and natural ‘blue’ environments are recognised as being beneficial to our health. The negative ions of the water support our positive vibes! Our locations in Mallorca and Scotland are chosen because they have these qualities: proximity to water, forest and mountain energy, to help our natural wellness and vitality.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Einstein
OTHER COACHES
Other facilitators with special skills and local kn0wledge will join us. Our team will likely include:
Helena Bellini: a local, full-hearted wonderful character and mountain-guide. She grew up in the family finca in which our retreat will be based. She loves the north of the island and to share this with others, with the possibility to guide people on walks and into nearby mountains.
Glyn Stanworth: an ex-mathematician turned gardener and inner adventurer. He has sat with Yogis in India, lived in Ashrams and meditated with monks. He has twice walked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage through Spain, delving deep into themes of transformation. Glyn has a gift for being very present, for listening deeply, encouraging ‘being’ over ‘doing’ and to slow down and enjoy each precious moment.
There may be optional outdoor activities to suit a range of fitness / abilities. Surf sessions in Scotland will be run by local charity SurfABLE Scotland.
RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL
We aim to reduce the negative and increase the positive impacts of our events, deepening commitment to social and environmental best practice. Whilst retreats and events often involve travel, we acknowledge that the benefits of experiencing and sharing other environments, cultures and connection with new people is important. We encourage travellers to be as responsible and considerate as possible to the environment, economy and social impacts during your time away. Our Responsible Travel Policy includes: a Responsible Travellers Code of Conduct, and we have a Responsible Impact Policy regarding our own environmental, economic and social impacts.
